Dear whoever this may concern,
Firstly I had great difficulty finding a way to even begin to email about my complaint, which does not add to my level of annoyance. My boyfriend and I recently visited the Calvin Klein store (around January time) located in York Outlet. He was interested in purchasing a suit, and on this day he did just that from yourselves. The suit costed around £240 and so wasn’t exactly cheap, we expected it to be an investment almost-something which would last a while. However we were very wrong. Not even 2 months later and the damage to the trousers is unreal. It is not worn for ‘heavy duty’ and was simply bought for a suit to wear to work, yet the gaping hole in the trousers says otherwise, and is simply not acceptable. We did not pay that amount of money to be presented with such a poor item of clothing. We returned to the Calvin Klein store in York to see if we could find a replacement pair of trousers and hopefully not have to deal with the same problem, yet the staff made no attempt to help us apart from checking the warehouse. No attempt was made to order any in, we left with nothing but a ‘sorry’. Instead of now finding an alternative pair of trousers, I found this to be my last resort and that there was no other option but to complain. Now of course I am aware that the returns policy has passed it’s return date, and the trousers would not be fit for a return (a picture can be sent of the trousers upon a reply to show the damage but unfortunately the email format which is in place for this complaint does not allow attachments). I am beyond disappointed with our purchase and would very much appreciate something to be done about the situation, and I will await a response as soon as possible.
